Download & Install

Download the software from the PokerStars website and follow the instructions to install.
Do not use app stores to download the software.

Create An Account

Create a ‘Stars’ account.
Follow instructions on the PokerStars website.
You do not need to create a real money account.

Join our Club

Depending on your device, find the tab/section for ‘Home’ games and join the ‘All-In-Or-All-Out’ club.

We play on PokerStars.
For UK based players go to www.pokerstars.uk, for all other countries if you go to www.pokerstars.com it should redirect you to your regional site.

Go to your regional PokerStars website and click the download button.

The download link will determine the type of device you are installing the software on, and download the appropriate software.

Yes, on both Android and iOS.

Download the software from the PokerStars site from your device.

The mobile versions have limitations and are not as feature rich as the desktop versions.
There is a possibility that joining a club has to be done via the desktop client or their web version (browser based).

All our games are played with ‘Play Money’ and cost 20000 play chips for each tournament.

A newly created account will be credited with 35000 play chips.

You can collect more play money by going to the ‘Cashier’ and clicking the ‘Play Money’ tab. Clicking ‘Collect’ will give you 15000 chips which is collectable every 4 hours.

We are current playing at 9.05PM on Wednesdays.

This can change at short notice so it’s best to join the WhatsApp Group.

There is 13 games per season all named after a card in a deck, and each season is named after a suit (Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts and Spades). A league table is populated with the results of each game within its season with the below points system.

For up to 11 players the points allocated:

1st – 12

2nd – 8

3rd – 5

4th – 4

5th – 3

6th -2

All other places get 1 point – yes you get 1 point for just turning up!

For 12+ players points are allocated:

1st -15, 2nd -12, 3rd -8, 4th -5, 5th -4, 6th -3, 7th -2

1 point for all others

For 16+ a points system will be created if I ever need to. Probably 1st-20, 2nd-15, 3rd-10, 4th-8 and so on.

For league position tiebreaks we are using number of KOs or it may be the average points – can’t remember at the moment – I feel we are not as well organised as it looks!

Few other rules/thoughts:
– minimum 5 players for game to be counted as a league game. Replayed with same name week after, if this occurs;
– Nearing end of season, for players challenging, games may be move to accommodate;
– few other too, will add as I go

Yes.

The games will always be for play chips. This is so we can be inclusive to all our friends and family.

There is a completely optional side cash pool for each game. The contribution is £10 per game and is re-distributed as per below:

Number of players in the cash pool:

1-5 players: Winner takes all

6-8 players: Top 2, 70/30 split

9-11 players: 3rd gets stake back; Top 2, 70/30 split

12-14 players: Top 3, 50/30/20 split

If any higher, we’ll work something out very quickly.

A notification must be sent before the game to the club manager to say you want to play in the cash pool element. A message can also be sent to say you are always in the cash pool, which can be changed at any time before a game.

All transfer to be done within 24hrs including pay-outs, unless an agreement has been arranged.
